7mL Scintillation/Peti-Vials Case of 1,000
Scintillation vials, also called Peti-Vials, are made from a special grade of polypropylene to produce optimum vial clarity, and are autoclavable. It features a unique one-half turn, leak-proof cap with a molded-in sealing ring. The bottoms of the vials are dimpled to facilitate filter-paper counting, and they are compatible with all major liquid scintillation counting systems.Each vial has a nominal volume of 7mL, and is ideal for sample storage.
The maximum use temperature is 135C/275F, and the brittleness temperature is 0C/32F.
The recommended autoclaving guidlines are:
Temperaure: 121C/249.8F
Pressure: 15psi
Time: 15 minutes
Cycle: Steam
**Dry Cycle is not recomended.
**NOTE** The caps are NOT autoclavable, but can be sterilized via Sterlization Gas.
