Magnetic Putty, Classroom Set of 12

Experience the power of magnetism combined with putty. The putty is made with micron-sized iron-based particles that have been distributed throughout the putty, while still retaining the properties of putty. Because of the iron-based particles, the putty actually takes on the properties of the rare earth magnet included with each tin.

If you put the magnet and the putty near each other, it will slowly extend outwards to engulf the magnet. If left on top of the putty, the magnet will sink into it and get covered by it, with the putty returning to almost the same shape once its “eaten” the magnet.

Each classroom set includes a teacher’s guide and 12 tins of magnetic thinking putty. Each tin contains 91g (3.21oz) of putty.
