This classroom set of balloon helicopters includes everything you need to have a high flying, balloon powered good time!  Inflate the balloon with the included air pump and attach it to the propeller. Watch it take off to heights up to 30″!!! This classroom set can be used to teach about Newton’s Third Law – “To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction.” Teachers should note that Newton’s Third Law has to be applied twice in order to explain the upward motion of the helicopter. The exhausted gases coming from the inflated balloon force the fan to rotate, driving the air downward. The reaction of wind, in turn, provides the lifting force for the helicopter.
