This oven is a low-temperature version of the standard AF/AFE lab ovens from Quiny Lab. Their temperature range is ambient +15°F up to a maximum of 107°C/225°F.

Attractive and durable, the exterior of the oven are painted a light gray, and have a hard, scratch-resistant hammer finish. High-impact thermoplastic handles create a large, stable grip for opening the door. The exterior walls have been constructed from heavy steel, and feature a double-wall construction, with one inch of high-density mineral wool insulating the interior work-space from the outer cabinet. Inside, the walls are corrosion-resistant aluminized steel.

With digital controls, temperature setting has never been easier. Combined with the stability of a full PID microprocessor that can accurately maintain settings within ±1.0°C, even with varying ambient or power supply conditions. The addition of temperature-tracking allows information about to be tracked from a specified set point. This helps to confirm the stability or indication any possible malfunctions or power loss. The large LED’s continuously display the temperature, and includes a lock setting mode to provide protection against accidental or inadvertent adjustment.

Engineered into a compact design for quick run-up and recovery times, the low-temperature lab ovens employ energy-efficient, low-watt density incoloy sheathed elements. To help increase temperature uniformity, a perforated heat shield is able to absorb radiant heat and distribute it more evenly.

Quincy Lab uses only quality UL and CSA recognized components in the construction of their ovens. The AFE-LT models offer forced-air circulation, which allows for the uniform distribution of heat throughout the chamber, facilitating dehydration and evaporating. It’s temperature ranges from ambient +15°F to 225°F/107°C.
