This good quality weight set contains 9 weights (1 each of 1g, 5g, 10g, 50g and 100g sizes, and 2 each 2g and 20g sizes plus a set of 1 to 500 mg fractional weights and a 5mg rider and forceps), in a handsome  wooden storage box.  Weights are made of polished stainless steel and each weight is inscribed with its capacity.
 
Stainless steel weights are more economical than brass with same measuring quality and also do not contain any lead so they are safer for educational uses.
 
These traditional weights are often used in analytical pan balances for gold measurements or other accurate fulcrum balance measurements.
 
Laboratory use only.  Not intended for use by children under 8.  Use by children requires adult supervision.
