Class A 10mL Glass Burette, Automatic

This 10mL burette is automatic and self-zeroing. It features two PTFE stopcocks, one being a screw type (rotoflo) controls flow out of the buret itself, and the other is a traditional stopcock which allows any excess liquids to be drained from the buret and back into the reservoir. The burette features a ground glass ring where it connects to the top of a 500mL glass reservoir with matching ground glass neck. The glass tubing of the buret sits down inside the reservoir near the bottom. A rubber bellows with rubber tubing connects to the buret near the bottle neck to make filling easier and more precise. Above the top of the buret, a small, open-air reservoir is present to allow airflow into the buret and prevent air bubbles from forming in the tube.

Its amber colored graduations are backed by a schellbach stripe on the opposite side, which helps to make reading the graduations much easier because of the contrast between the two colors. The graduation interval of the 10mL burette is 0.05mL, and it has a tolerance of ±0.02mL.

Each burette is made of Class A glass, and meets ASTM E-287 and USP standards. They are manufactured from precision bore glass tubing and calibrated To Deliver (TD, Ex) on computer-controlled machines. All of the burettes have been individually serialized and certified.
