Description
Large U Shaped Electromagnet 

This Electromagnet operates on 1.5 to 6 volts DC.  It is capable of lifting up to 3.5kg (7.72 lbs).  A current direction indicator is included for the study of the magnetic field.  This magnet comprises two coils, a U-Type iron core and an armature.  On outmost layer of the coils are several turns of rubber wires, indicating the winding direction of the coil.  Each of the coils has two terminals which can be connected in series or in parallel.  When used on 4~6v, 1A in parallel, the armature can bear a load of more than 40N.
