GLASSCO Hot Plate Magenetic Stirrer
This analog hot plate magnetic stirrer is designed to heat and stir the contents of a beaker. Unit has a Maximum heating plate temperature up to 350°C with a hot top indicator for temperatures above 50°C. Stirrer can handle a beaker size up to and including 5000ml. Two knobs are installed for regulating temperature and stir speed. This unit has a max stir speed of 1700rpm. The unit comes complete with separate power cord, 25mm stir bar, and instructions.Our lab has tested this unit and found it fast to heat and reliable. This unit has brought 500 mls of water to boiling in 7min., and easily stirred with a deep vortex 5000 ml erlenmeyer flasks. Please remember when operating a magnetic hot plate/stirrer to match the proper stir bar to the size and density of the solution.
