These 16mm (5/8th inch) Early Edition “Rooster” player marbles are sold in packs of 5 and are crafted in gorgeous transparent red glass with elegant opaque swirls of white, red and orange/red on the surface and inside the marbles. The red can sometimes blend with the white giving some of the swirls an orange or yellow tinted highlight which only adds to the uniqueness of these early version marbles. The colors are truly exceptional… pictures do not do them justice! We are amazed at the uniqueness of some of them. Known as “Early Edition” marbles, they are generally the best quality and colors available. The glass used to make them was of a higher quality than subsequent years. They were made by Vacor (Mega Marbles) in 2003 and this version has been discontinued, although other versions of this marble have been made ever since. Every run of a marble is a little different with the earliest runs being the best. We bought a variety of old Mega Marbles in original bags that were old store stock and had been in storage for at least 15 years. We will pick out a variety of interesting early Rooster marbles for you. These marbles are highly sought after as collectibles, very hard to find and will surely create a conversation whenever used or displayed! Our quantities are very limited. Includes 5 stainless steel, ring style, washer type display stands per set purchased. These stands will keep your marble from rolling and will not distract from the marble.

Please be aware that marbles are very difficult to photograph and due to differences in personal settings on computers and hand held devices the colors you see may vary slightly from the color you receive. Lighting such as flash photography can greatly effect the look of a marble as can holding the marble under different types of lighting can make the color look slightly different. We do our absolute best to represent our marbles accurately and true to color, but even the best photography will not display as 100% perfect. The white spots on these marbles are light reflections, not damage or error spots.

Due to the way they were manufactured, this type of marble will have creases or cold rolled marks. They may not be as smooth as other newer marbles. Machine made marbles are made by rolling molten glass with various colors. In larger sizes of marbles roll marks from this process may sometimes be seen as part of the normal making process. If it is a cold roll mark (smooth not sharp edges), most consider that as-made and it would fall in the mint category.
