25mL Polypropylene Plastic Beaker – Pack of 10

This Euro style plastic beaker has an graduated capacity of 25mL, with an outside diameter of approximately 34mm, or 3.4cm, not including the lip, and a height of 49mm (4.9cm). The graduations go from 5mL to 25mL, and are marked at 5mL intervals.

The Euro style differs from a Griffin beaker, in that it features a more pronounced spout, which makes it easier to pour from, and a wider lip around the top of the beaker. They are also slightly taller, which makes them narrower, than the Griffin style, allowing for easier stacking.

Molded from a single piece of polypropylene, these plastic beakers feature raised graduations for easy readability. This also ensures that, unlike painted on graduations, they aren’t susceptible to fading or paint rubbing off. They are fully autoclavable, and have excellent contact clarity.

Similar to polyethylene, polypropylene features an additional methyl group that adds improved mechanical and thermal resistance. At room temperature, it is resistant to fats and almost all organic solvents, save for strong oxidizers. It can also handle non-oxidizing acids and bases with relative ease. Max usage temperature is 135 degrees Celsius.
