While our beaker mugs can certainly be used for measuring out liquids or other substances, if you require an accurate measurement we recommend that a cylinder or pipet be used.  The most precise and accurate method will always be by weight.  Each beaker mug is handcrafted from borosilicate glass, and may contain minor cosmetic blemishes.  In no way will any of these affect the use or integrity of the beaker mug.
