Demonstration Hand Cranked AC/DC Generator

This unique hand generator is an easy yet effective way to teach how AC and DC electricity is produced. Banana plugs can be inserted into the different connectors to change from AC to DC electricity. The unit has a clear base for easy demonstration of connections. Includes an activity guide. The apparatus consists of 2 permanent magnets, an armature, brushes, slip rings, commutator, turning wheel, light bulbs with sockets, terminals, a base, and jumper wires with banana plugs.  Materials needed for activity guide but NOT included: DC Ammeter with 2 ranges, voltmeter, galvanometer, a DC voltmeter with 3 ranges, a red and a black wire 30cm long, and a wire stripper.  No assembly required.  Dimensions: 10″x7″x9″
