Description

AP Biology Investigation: Transpiration

Students will be able to study the process of transpiration/transpiration pull and the role that it places in water/nutrient movement in plants. Also examined will be the location and density of stomata on a leafs surface by preparing a stomatal peel. Lastly, students will design and conduct an experiment to show how altering an environmental condition may affect the rate of transpiration.
