Biology Investigation: Photosynthesis


  Students will learn about the necessary components and conditions required for photosynthesis to occer, while using leaf disks to measure the accumulation of oxygen and be able to relate it to the rate of photosynthesis. They will then use guided inquire to design and conduct their own experiment to examine what the effects of a chosen variable is on the rate of photosynthesis.

   Included in the kit are a teachers manual and study study guide copymasters, and there are enough materials to 8 groups to conduct the experiment. This kit meets AP Science Practices 1,2,3,6, and 7 as well as Big Idea 2.
