Also known as bromothymol sulfone phthalein or BTB, Bromothymol Blue is a pH indicator, typically used when a relatively neutral pH is required. Below a pH 6.0, it will appear yellow, while above 7.6 it will appear blue in color. This bromothymol blue is in an aqueous solution.
