An inorganic compound, this anhydrous form of Calcium Sulfate is mixed with Cobalt Chloride, and is used as a desiccant. It starts off as in a blue granular form, and as it absorbs moisture from the surrounding environment, the color will slowly turn pink to indicate the absorption.
