Bell Jar Vacuum Demonstration Kit

A bell jar demonstration kit is a great tool to discover not only how sound requires a medium to travel, but a number of other experiments as well. Other experiments (not included) involve simply items like marshmallows, shaving cream and balloons.

The kit includes a bell jar, vacuum base plate, gasket, hose, and a battery-operated ringer electric bell. The two AA batteries for the electric bell and the vacuum pump used to create a vacuum are not included.

The base plate is made of heavy duty plastic, and features two binding posts to hold the electric bell upright. The gasket is made of heavy duty rubber. The hose is a flexible plastic, and is rated for 175psi.
