Dicotyledon Stem Model – Plant Anatomy

Patterned after a sunflower stem, this dicot model shows the various layers of a plant stem and other vital structures. The different layers included on the model are the epidermis, cork layer, phloem, cambium, xylem, and pith. The anatomy of the stem is displayed in three different sections: cross, radial, and tangential. It comes with a detailed key to help students identify the different areas and sections of the dicot stem.

It has been created using injection molding, which makes it more durable than the more common fiberglass construction. The model measures approximately 16×12.5×7.5 inches, and is great for botany class and botanical studies.
