This set includes geographically accurate Earth, Mars, and Moon marbles produced to scale. Included is a plastic display case with cosmic background and a drawstring pouch as well as 3 individual stainless steel display stands, one for each marble. The story card insert features quick facts on planetary diameters and distances. The recycled transparent blue glass Earth marble measures 1.4 inches in diameter and features natural earth continents in stunning detail. The red glass Mars Marble shows polar ice caps and volcanoes and measures approximately 1 inch in diameter. Earth’s Moon is depicted with craters and mountains in a White opaque recycled glass orb measuring approximately .5 Inch in diameter.  The geographic art is hand applied in an extremely delicate process, that is then placed by hand into a kiln that heats to over 1000º; the art then liquifies to the marble which creates a made to last a lifetime art glass marble!
