With its 29 pieces, this kit helps to introduce students to the basic principles behind electricity and magnetism, such as magnetic attraction and repulsion, magnetic fields, and electromagnetism. Other topics that are also covered in this kit include electrical circuitry, voltage, current and resistance, as well as series and parallel connections.

The basics of force within a magnetic field and an electric motor are also included, and a relay and LED lights are provided to further student investigations. All of the components are mounted onto sturdy molded plastic bases, and the connections are all made using reliable screw terminals.

The kit also includes a complete activity guide, which details the experiments and provides step-by-step details on how to set them up. Three AA batteries (not included) are required for the experiments in this kit to function.
