A metal-framed glass tubing cutter with a single round blade, it works well for cutting both borosilicate and flint glass tubing. Unlike some cutters on the market, this one features a replaceable blade. Great for having uniform cuts, and the convenience of being able to cut the specific length of tubing required, without having to go to a glass cutting shop. The blade scores the tubing, and then the user carefully snaps the glass, breaking it right where it has been scored.

The cutter is approximately 3 inches long, and the jaws open up to 1.5 inches.

Borosilicate glass is nothing more than the generic name for better known heat resistant glass brands like Pyrex, Corning, Simax, Kimax, and others.

**We do not recommend using this for tubing that is smaller than 4mm in diameter, or bigger than 18mm.
