Copper Electrode w/Binding Post

This aluminum electrode is approximately 5″ long by 2″ wide, and roughly 1/2mm thick. Electrodes are great for many science experiments, in particular those involving chemistry such as voltaic cells, electroplating and electrolysis.

Typically, electrodes are the conductors used to provide a current through non-metal objects in an attempt to alter them and measure conductivity. Real world applications and examples of this include, but are not limited to: fuel cell and battery technology, medical equipment such as defibrillators and EEGs, arc welding, and grounding of electrical lines.
