This 25 count bag of early edition Green “Parrot” Mega Marbles comes with 24 Player marbles that measure 16mm or 5/8th inches and 1 Shooter marble that measures 25mm or 1 inch in diameter. Made in Mexico by Vacor for Mega Marbles. There are several different, yet similar, header styles for these marbles which greatly aid in determining when they were made and how collectible they are. The header on these particular marbles labels them only as “Parrot”, but they are actually “Green Parrot.” The name “Parrot” was used at a later date for a different marble that is yellow. This header tells us, however, that these Green “Parrot” net bags were made in 2003 and are now retired making them more difficult to find. Each glass marble is crafted in transparent green glass with two opaque patches set 90-180° apart. One patch is always white the other is red or yellow. These marbles are highly sought after as collectibles, very hard to find, and will surely create a conversation whenever used or displayed! Our quantities are limited. As an added bonus they come with 2 plastic display rings. Great for playing marble games, using with Marble Runs, or simply putting on display. Also great for use in Decorating, Art Work, Games, Crafts, Jewelry, Yard Art or Collecting.
Marbles are a traditional children’s game that have been a favorite for generations. The origins of this game have been traced back to Pakistan, Rome and Ancient Egypt. There are a variety of different games that can be played with Marbles and even new ones are made up on the spot.
Images are representative of selection. Each marble is a unique glass orb. No two marbles are exactly alike. Please be aware that marbles are very difficult to photograph and due to differences in personal settings on computers and hand held devices the colors you see may vary slightly from the color you receive. Lighting such as flash photography can greatly effect the look of a marble as can holding the marble under different types of lighting can make the color look slightly different. We do our absolute best to represent our marbles accurately and true to color, but even the best photography will not display as 100% perfect. The white spots on these marbles are light reflections, not damage or error spots.
