New for 2022 is this 21 count bag of “Butterfly Fairies” that comes with 20 Player marbles measuring 16mm or 5/8th inches and 1 Shooter marble that measures 25mm or 1 inch in diameter. Made by Vacor, this is the House of Marbles version of the “Stardust” marble from Mega Marbles. Crafted in a transparent, clear glass with beautiful specks of ultra-small particles of ground-up blue, green, red, or yellow glass – a.k.a. “frit” – stardust all over the textured surface of each marble. They are then covered with a gorgeous, iridescent finish which causes them to sparkle and glisten like the sun. Playing with these marbles can cause tiny bits of the frit to shed and fall off, much like glitter does. We recommend them more as collectibles, buy they will surely create a conversation whenever they are used or placed on display! Great fun for kids to collect, swap, and play. Also great for use in Decorating, Art Work, Games, Crafts, Jewelry, Yard Art or Collecting.
The color mix in each bag may vary, but each bag will contain at least one of each color of player marble.
Marbles are a traditional children’s game that have been a favorite for generations. The origins of this game have been traced back to Pakistan, Rome and Ancient Egypt. There are a variety of different games that can be played with Marbles and even new ones are made up on the spot.
Images are representative of selection. Each marble is a unique glass orb. No two marbles are exactly alike. Please be aware that marbles are very difficult to photograph and due to differences in personal settings on computers and hand held devices the colors you see may vary slightly from the color you receive. Lighting such as flash photography can greatly effect the look of a marble as can holding the marble under different types of lighting can make the color look slightly different. We do our absolute best to represent our marbles accurately and true to color, but even the best photography will not display as 100% perfect. The white spots on these marbles are light reflections, not damage or error spots.
