Polypropylene Separatory Funnel Holder

Molded from non-corrosive polypropylene, this holder is capable of holding separatory funnels with capacities from 500ml up to 1000ml. The open front design provides users with a clear and unobstructed view of the solution, as well as allowing for easier placement and removal of the funnel. The more traditional ring supports have a tendency to catch onto the stopcock, which can result in a number of issues including damage to the funnel, knocking over the support stand and potentially spilling the liquid that was separated into the container below.

Two tapered wedges are provided to ensure firm grips on rods measuring either 1/2″ or 3/8″ in diameter. The wedges slip inside the handle of the holder, and then the top of it screws down, tightening the grip on the support rod.

While this will hold a pear-shaped 250ml separatory funnel, it would be best to check the diameter around the largest part of the funnel. The holder has a diameter of approximately 72mm (2.8 inches), and will because of it’s 3/4 design, it will flex outward slightly when sufficient weight is pressed down. on the arms.
