Porcelain is a great addition to any established or new laboratory, and this kit includes one of each of our top-selling porcelain products. Because it can withstand higher temperatures than glassware, porcelain is ideal for heating small quantities of material that require extremely hot temperatures. All of the porcelain containers have been glazed inside and out, except for the on the bottom. The reason for glazing is because of the porous nature of ceramics.
