This 14-piece Premium Aluminum Tuning Fork Set is an expanded version of our 8-piece Deluxe Tuning Fork set. These are top quality aluminum alloy tuning forks for physics and music classes in an attractive wooden box. In this set the A=426.6 Hz. Great for demonstrating the relationship between sound and vibrations, the energy transfer between resonating systems and as a source of standard frequencies.
These high quality forks are 15 to 25 cm long (about 5.5 to 10 inches) with 7 mm x 9 mm tines and vibrate long and loudly. Each is tuned within .05% of rated frequency. Each tuning fork is marked in both musical scale and Hertz ranges. Crafted of a premium aluminum alloy, resulting in a heavier fork with a longer tone. The tuning forks in this set include:
