Preserved 1-3 Inch Scorpions, Wet Pack of 10

A predatory arthropod of the order Scorpiones within the class Arachnida and phylum Arthropoda, scorpions have 8 legs and easily recognized by a pair of grasping claws, also called pedipalps, and their narrow segmented tail that typically curves forwards over their back and ends with a venomous stinger. Ranging in size from 9mm to 20cm, they have adapted to survive on all continents except for Antarctica.

The 10 scorpions in this wet pack measure 1-3 inches in length, and are a light brown color with black or dark brown highlights. Unlike a number of preservation solutions, the wet pack does not contain formaldehyde. It is a holding solution of propylene glycol, eythlyne glycol monophenyl ether and water, that has been designed for the preservation of insects and other invertebrates.
