Cardboard Student Periscope

With a design that was inspired by the naval periscopes that are used on submarines, this lightweight and low-cost handheld periscope was designed to show students the reflective qualities of light. It is constructed of a durable cardboard tube, with a mirror on either end. The mirrors are set parallel to each other at a 45D angle, allowing the viewer to see what is happening in whatever direction the other mirror is directed. Each mirror is capable of rotating a full 360, allowing you to look around simply by turning the viewer. It has an overall length of 8 inches, and a diameter of 2 inches.
