These medium disposable plastic weigh boats are 3.5″ x 3.5″ with a depth of 1″.

Weigh boats are great as general purpose sample holders. Their anti-static polystyrene construction allows them to hold powders and other samples for weighing on a scale or balance, without having to worry about leaving any of your product behind in the dish. They are thin, yet sturdy, allowing them to be flexed for easy pouring and their wide, flat bottom resists being tipped over. Unlike weighing paper which can be difficult to pick up, weigh boats have contoured sides and a lip for easy, non-slip handling.

Economical and disposable, they have high uniformity, dependability and stability, along with the capability of withstanding temperatures of up to 180°F. Another feature of these weigh dishes is that they are biologically inert, as well as resistant to dilute acids, aqueous solutions, alcohols and bases. They are extremely convenient to use, and help prevent contamination on your balances and scales that might result from not using a weigh boat.
