Stilbite is a mineral composed of hydrated sodium calcium aluminumsilicate and can be found abundantly in volcanic rock such as basalt and andesite. Stilbite is named after the Greek word stilbein, which means to shine. Stilbite is usually translucent white, but can have tints of color with a pearly or vitreous luster.

This beautiful crystal specimen comes inside a small wooden treasure chest. This small chest, is secured shut with a hinge clasp and measures 4.25 inches in length, 3 inches wide, and 2 inches tall. Mineral specimen will measure at least 1 inch in length.
