Description

96×42″ Periodic Table of the Elements Poster
by Denoyer-Geppert

A full eight feet wide, and three-and-a-half feet high, this gigantic periodic table poster was designed to be easily visible from across the lab, classroom, or lecture hall. Printed on tear-resistant synthetic media, it features four metal eyelets across the top, and two along the bottom, allowing it to be securely hung on the wall. It has been correlated to current IUPAC standards and recommendations to help ensure the accuracy of the information presented on the periodic table.

To maximize visibility and reduce confusion, this periodic table has been simplified to present only the essentials: atomic mass (based on Carbon 12), atomic number, and its symbol. Each symbol has been color-coded to assist with identifying that elements naturally occurring physical state: solids are in black, gases are white, and liquids are blue. All synthetic elements are depicted by the color gray, and atomic numbers are shown in red. The chart is further broken down with color-coding, giving each of the different blocks their own background color.
