Economy Wax Dissection Tray w/Lid

The dissecting tray is a staple in biology classes at all levels. It features a durable aluminum one-piece construction which will not rust, crack or leak. The inside base of the dissection pan is lined with black wax, which allows it to be heated up and returned to a smooth surface, after months of being pitted, poked at and cut on by dissecting tools.

Included with the dissecting pan is a clear plastic lid that has been designed to fit over the edges of the dissection tray. It’s domed shape allows for specimens larger specimens to be covered. To ensure the lid does not come off, we recommend the use of tape or parafilm to securely lock it in place on top of the dissection tray.

The tray itself measures 11.15×7.5×1.5 inches, with the lid adding an extra 1.2 inches in height.
