Alson known as Ammonium Iron (III) Sulfate, Ferric Ammonium Sulfate (FAS), and iron alum, this 100g bottle of reagent grade chemical comes in pale violet crystals. It is paramagnetic, and a weak oxidizing agent that can be reduced to Mohr’s salt, ferrous ammonium sulfate. This is in the dodecahydrate crystalline form.
