Leaf Structure Model – 18x10x7″ Botany Model

Patterned after the leaf of the lima bean plant, this model has been enlarged 45x. It shows numerous details of both the transverse and longitudinal sections of the leaf. The mesophyll section of the of the leaf structure shows both the palisade parenchyma and the spongy parenchyma, as well as both surfaces of the leaf, including the stomas and guard cells. Additional detail of the xylem, phloem, and vascular veins has been included, to give students a better view of those structures.

The model has been injection molded, making it more durable than the common fiberglass constructed models. It is also completely washable with soap and water, giving it the ability to last years without any issues.
