These Plastic Petri Dishes are used to culture cells on solid media for a wide range of laboratory applications and are ideal for use with any of our Ready-to-Pour agar. Manufactured using polystyrene in an ISO 9001 approved facility and ETO sterilized via ethylene oxide, these disposable dishes measure 60mm in diameter and 15mm deep. These dishes are triple vented, allowing the lid to sit up slightly from the bottom in order to allow some air flow, reducing humidity inside while cultures are growing and making them ideally suited for short term work.

Outside the laboratory, Petri dishes can also be used to organize and display crafts, beads, jewelry, sand or anything else you can imagine.
