With enough pieces to build all five of the simple machines in this kit, children and students will be able to experiment and discover the basics of these simple machines. By further changing certain variables of each one, they can learn how these simple machines can make everyday work and effor easier.

They will learn the basics of the pulley, inclined plane, wedve, lever, and the wheel & axle. All of these are present every day in our lives, though most of the time they are taken for granted as being so simple that even a caveman could do it. While this might be true, we still need to build upon the foundations laid down by these simple machines, in order to create ones that are more complex.
