Soxhlet Extraction Apparatus with Heating Mantle, Single Station by United Scientific is a unique all-in-one set that includes matched components to provide a convenient Soxhlet extraction workstation. The setup includes a heating mantle with stirrer, 250 ml borosilicate glass boiling flask, 100 ml borosilicate glass Soxhlet extractor, 300 mm borosilicate glass Allihin condenser with glass connectors, sturdy powder-coated metal support stand with aluminum clamp and stability bracket, and two 48″ lengths of rubber tubing with screw connectors.

This Soxhlet apparatus is excellent for continuous solvent extraction and is simple to set up and use. The heating mantle provides the same function as a hot plate, but it is designed to securely hold round bottom flasks and evenly distribute heat throughout. The top half of the flask remains easily visible during operation.

The heating mantle with stirrer features a polyurethane coated aluminum exterior and a high quality knitted mantle with glass fiber underlay for uniform distribution of heat. Maximum operating temperature is 400°C. Mantle can be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures, from about 45°F to 100°F, and relative humidity up to 80%. The unit is not waterproof, and is rated as IP code 10 equipment. Stirring function operates at speeds of 50 to 750 RPM. Heating and stirring functions are independently controlled by two separate knobs.

Heating elements can be replaced easily. An outlet tube is built-in for draining any spilled liquids. A 4-foot long grounded cord is included. Each unit features a fuse that can be easily replaced.

Stand measures 20″ H x 8″ W with a base platform 10.5″ D with a 1″ lip.
