The transport vials are made from virgin polypropylene, as recycled can lead to the presence of contaminating polymers and reduce shape consistency. They are ideal for sample Collection, storage and Safety. Though these are non-sterile, the tubes themselves are autoclave. The white screw cap has a molded-in sealing ring, which helps provide a tight and leak-proof fit. The vials have a writable surface on their side, and are graduated accurately to 5ml of volume. While the vials are Conical, the sides of the vial have been extended to just beyond the tip, allowing them to be freestanding. The recommended Autoclaving guidelines are: temperature: 121C/249.8F pressure: 15psi time: 15 minutes cycle: steam **dry cycle is not recommended.
