Perfect for the budding scientist, this microscope set comes complete with everything they need to get started. With 5 extra cover slips, blank labels and 4 blank slides, your little scientist will be able to make their own microscope slides and view whatever they want. The 2 collecting vials make transporting their samples back to their “lab” (the kitchen) easy to do, and the included prepared microscope slide gives them a good idea of what it is they are looking at.

The microscope itself is made of plastic, and houses 3 different objective lenses. Combined with the eyepiece lens, it is capable of generating magnifications of 100x, 200x, and 450x. The light source is a polished mirror that is housed on a gimbal mount, allowing the mirror to be rotated and turned to provide the best possible lighting to be projected up beneath your sample.
