2.0% Agarose Gel, 200mL

   This 200mL bottle of agarose gel is used for running dye sets and 0.2-1kb fragments through the electrophoresis process.  The gel can be melted in either a microwave or a hot water bath.  Precautions, such as unscrewing the cap and leaving it to sit on top of the neck of the bottle, must be taken.  Once melted, the gel can be poured into a gel tray to cool, and used in electrophoresis with either a TBE or TAE buffer solution.
